This site represents an extraordinary opportunity to create something truly of its time that not only respects the constraints of the conservation area but has a positive impact on it.

 

Our proposal is a contemporary response that is wholly appropriate for this site. The alternative is to plagiarise traditional styles that we feel would not enhance the conservation area and would actually detract from the eclectic nature of it. 

 

The proposal is for a predominantly linear building arranged over 4 floors. Built into the landscape the home will be adjacent to the eastern boundary to maximise space between the house and the mature trees on the western boundary.
